Bible story + prayer,
every morning

Grounded in faith

At Mercy Land we start every day with a Bible story and prayer, and the children recite the Lord's Prayer together. A few times a week we also watch children's Bible stories.

Kids remember the message of a good story more than we think. The Bible is full of wonderful stories that teach forgiveness, kindness and compassion, and we believe every child deserves to be grounded in faith alongside a great education.

4 sporting codes, no extra cost

We believe every child should be exposed to sport. It builds confidence, teamwork and healthy bodies. Soccer and drama are on offer too, all included in your monthly fee.

Cricket

Batting, bowling and catching skills with soft balls and kiddie bats.

Rugby

Running, passing and playing as a team, the safe way.

Golf

Kiddies golf on our lawn for focus, balance and coordination.

Chess

Thinking ahead, patience and good sportsmanship.

The Mercy Land farming project

Teaching responsibility, patience and a love for the land.

Every child registered at Mercy Land is given their own small plot in our garden, marked with their name and paired with a symbolic title deed. They plant, water and look after their own vegetables, and learn what it means to own and care for land.

When the veggies are ready, children take some home, and Pick n Pay has kindly agreed that Mercy Landers can sell some of their produce there. It is okay for children to get dirty.

  • Own garden plot and title deed for every child
  • Planting, watering and harvesting through the seasons
  • Farm outings and lots of outdoor play
